Get StartedIn 1934, two Assembly of God evangelists came to Caswell County and began conducting prayer meetings in local residences. This grew to Brush Arbor revivals until early 1935, when they purchased property and built a church they called Somers Grove Assembly of God. In 1947, they sold the church and property to build another, larger sanctuary at the present location and named it Pleasant View Assembly of God.
In 1993, the current pastor, Rev. Gary Loftis, built a new sanctuary to accommodate the growing church family. Tentative plans are being made for yet another expansion.
We want to help you discover that plan as you mature in your faith and learn how you fit within the Kingdom of God. If you choose to visit us, you will feel welcomed by the church family and blessed by the presence of God.
